A Leominster-based medical device company has reached a $2.5 million settlement with the Massachusetts attorney general's office to resolve claims that it overcharged MassHealth members and violated consumer protection laws. Regional Home Care Inc, a company that provides medical equipment for sleep, respiratory and oxygen services, used "aggressive' debt collection tactics, like making 'misleading threats' about consequences for not paying, and not informing their customers of their rights to dispute or obtain validation of their debts, the AG's office said in a statement Thursday.
