LEOMINSTER — On May 10, at their monthly meeting, the Leominster Eagle Riders #477 presented a check for $3,000 to Ginny's Helping Hand, Inc. from proceeds from their Soup Wars fundraiser held in February. The Soup Wars charity fundraiser brought together Soup makers and testers throughout the region, with the top prize won by Sue Ellen Wise, of Leominster, for her Zuppa Toscana. Ginny's Helping Hand, Inc. is a Leominster-based charity that supports thousands of people in North Central Massachusetts by providing them with fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable groceries and other necessary items.
